Welcome to the Jumpstart Video Productions Prop Shop. In video production, there is frequently a need for props, costumes and set pieces. To better serve clients and crew Jumpstart Video maintains a prop and costume shop filled with a random collection of items. Many items in storage at the Prop Shop were left after a video production project ended and the client decided they did not need to keep or store the item used in their video. Some items were purchased with the idea that they would be used in multiple video projects.
The marketing team at Jumpstart Video Productions decided that it would be fun to give away unused items or props that would most likely never be needed again. While some members of the costume and props department might want to keep everything the reality is that there is only so much storage space. With that, Jumpstart Video Productions is giving away the items listed on this page. If you would like one of the items just send in a brief story explaining why you want the item and how you would use it. It’s important that each prop go to a good home. Just use the contact page here to apply and if your story is approved the item will be shipped to you: https://jumpstartvideo.com/contact/
T-Tops for a 1982 Pontiac Firebird TransAm
These T-Tops came off a 1982 Pontiac Firebird TransAm used in a social media video and they are free to a good home. The video production project involved following along as the TransAm was being restored. These T-Tops were extra and when the shoot was over the car was sold but these extra T-Tops remained in storage. This is a complete set including drivers side and passenger side. Anyone interested in having these T-Tops please visit the contact page and tell your story as to why you would like them. The props team at Jumpstart Video will review all the submissions, pick the best one and send that applicant the T-Tops. The T-Tops are free but the recipient pays shipping. See more
Panasonic AJ-LT85 DVCPro Laptop Editor
Jumpstart Video Productions is giving away this Panasonic AJ-LT85 DVCPro Laptop Editor to the right applicant. This editor can power up but there is a malfunction in both tape players. The item is free to a good home. The right candidate to receive this equipment is most likely a broadcast engineer or a video professional who already owns an AJ-LT85 and could use this one for parts. Anyone interested in receiving this video editor please visit the contact page and tell your story as to why you would like it and how you could use it. The crew at Jumpstart Video will review all the submissions, pick the best one and send that applicant the editor. The only requirement to receive the laptop editor is that the recipient pays shipping and Jumpstart Video would be able to feature the story of how the recipient uses it on social media and this web page.
This video editing desk was custom made in 1996 for a corporate video production department. It was built to support heavy gear as back in the day video editing computers and monitors weighed four times what they do now. This editing desk is free to a good home but whoever claims it would need to pick it up at the studio in downtown Akron. It is about six feet long and would fit in the back of a pickup truck. If interested please send us a note through our contact form to arrange a time for it to be picked up.
