Open Full-time Position: Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist
Overview
Jumpstart Video is always looking to connect with talented video production professionals. We currently have a full time, on-site position available for a video editor with motion graphic design and compositing skills. Prospective candidates for the motion graphics artist position should have experience editing in Adobe Premiere and creating complex motion graphics using Adobe After Effects. Additional 3D animation skills in other programs is a bonus. Experience working in a professional video post-production environment is required. Applicants already living in the greater Akron area are preferred. The most successful video editors are able to quickly grasp the client’s goals and then work to create video content that supports the message and objectives of an organization. The ability to create dynamic, contemporary motion graphics and video effects that work to blend with and compliment existing client graphics, media, videos, interviews and still images is the skill set Jumpstart Video clients have come to expect and appreciate. A complete understanding of the documentary style of video editing based on interview footage and supporting b-roll is essential.
Summary
Jumpstart Video produces TV commercials and digital ads for clients locally and across the country. A good majority of the projects happening at Jumpstart Video are in ad creation, television production and corporate video. Video editors and motion graphics artist at Jumpstart Video take on a range of projects that involves editing videos and creating motion graphics on short schedules, working with clients to make revisions, and working with Jumpstart Video producers to manage the post-production schedule and due dates.
